การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาระดับวัฒนธรรมโรงเรียน 2) ศึกษาระดับการดำเนินงานโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธ และ 3) วิเคราะห์วัฒนธรรมโรงเรียนซึ่งเป็นปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อ การดำเนินงานโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาและครูในโรงเรียน สังกัด สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษา เขต 8 จำนวน 338 คน ได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้น ตามสัดส่วนกระจายตามจังหวัด เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถามที่สร้างขึ้นโดยผู้วิจัย วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการหาค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการถดถอยพหุคูณ แบบขั้นตอน
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1. ระดับวัฒนธรรมโรงเรียนอยู่ในระดับมากทั้งภาพรวมและรายด้าน เรียงลำดับจากมาก ไปน้อย ดังนี้ ความซื่อสัตย์สุจริต ความมุ่งประสงค์ ความรู้สึกเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโรงเรียน ความหลากหลาย ของบุคลากร ความเอื้ออาทร การยอมรับ ความมีคุณภาพ ความไว้วางใจ การมอบอำนาจ และ การตัดสินใจ
2. ระดับการดำเนินงานโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธอยู่ในระดับมากทั้งภาพรวมและรายด้าน เรียงลำดับ จากมากไปน้อยดังนี้ กิจกรรมพื้นฐานชีวิต การบริหารจัดการ กายภาพ การเรียนการสอน และ บรรยากาศและปฏิสัมพันธ์
3. วัฒนธรรมโรงเรียนประกอบด้วย ความหลากหลายของบุคลากร การมอบอำนาจ และความซื่อสัตย์สุจริต เป็นปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการดำเนินงานโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธโดยร่วมกันทำนายได้ ร้อยละ 43.20 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01
ABSTRACT
This research aimed to: 1) study the level of school culture; 2) identify the level of operation of Buddhist-oriented school; and 3) analyze school culture affecting operation of Buddhist-oriented schools. The research sample, derived by proportional stratified random sampling distributed by province, was 338 administrators and teachers of schools under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 8. The research instrument was a questionnaire constructed by the researcher. Data were analyzed with percentage, mean, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression.
The findings of this research were as follows:
1. Overall and in specific aspects, school culture was at a high level. These aspects, ranked from the highest to the lowest, were as follows: integrity, school purposes, sense of community, diversity, caring, recognition, quality, trust, empowerment and decision making.
2. Overall and in specific aspects, operation of Buddhist-oriented schools was at a high level. These aspects, ranked from the highest to the lowest, were as follows: life skill activity, school administration, school settings, learning and teaching, and school climate and interaction.
3. School culture in the aspects of diversity, empowerment, and integrity together predicted operation of Buddhist-oriented schools at the percentage of 43.20 with statistical significance at .01.
